A BIT ABOUT US

Our core values are friendship, integrity, honesty, service, commitment, family relationships, courage, respect for self and others, legacy, confidentiality, responsibility, and accountability.

KAC launched a food pantry with the members of the Allen Chapel AME Church in Ravenna, Ohio which to date has distributed donated and purchased food to over 1,500 people. Additionally, KAC offers an 8-week digital photography workshop to middle school aged African American students which includes darkroom training and an exhibit of their final works at the Massillon Museum as part of its Arts programming.

Through KAC's national and area-wide award-winning Breast Cancer Education, Awareness, and Advocacy Program, aimed at the early detection of breast cancer, more than 1,200 women have received free mammography services, and over 14,000 women have received education and referral services. Also, along with our partners and community, KAC acquired donations and distributed thousands of bras to women in need.

These are just a few examples of how KAC enriches the lives of members of the communities we serve.
